It is powered by photon force energy, its armor exceeds that of Superalloy New Z, and its performance exceeds that of Mazinger Z.

After Mazinger Z was defeated by the battle beasts led by the Mycenaean Empire, it continued to fight against the Mycenaean Empire.

It was a machine belonging to the Science Fortress Research Institute, but in the final battle with the Mycenaean Empire, Kabuto Kenzo died and the research institute was destroyed, so it took shelter in the Photon Power Research Institute.

It was treated as non-existent in the story. This is because Minerva X was in a time loop only within the history of Mazinger Z and Mazinger ZERO.

Performance is comparable to Mazinger ZERO. Also, because it was a machine that did not exist in any of the different dimensions, it was able to corner Mazinger ZERO, which was unable to deal with it, for a time. However, Mazinger ZERO found a way to nullify it and the situation was reversed.
