Player versus Environment: This is one of the PvE contents, where you can receive rewards by defeating enemies within a 90 second time limit. As the commander level increases, the enemy’s HP will also be strengthened, so if you are a beginner and don’t have enough aircraft or pilots, it is common to use your friends to defeat them.

Mercenary Quest

When defeated, you can obtain fragments of the defeated mercenary’s aircraft (1-2 pieces), and by collecting and combining 30 of these fragments, you will be able to use that aircraft. As an exception, ICEY-X, Tosho Unryu Kai, and Mega Giant require 100 fragments to make one unit (instead, the same unit is not required).

If you successfully defeat it, you will receive 50,000 coins, and even if you are not able to defeat it, you will receive coins based on the HP you reduced.

Mercenary target

Opponents that appear in the Blue Mercenary Wanted Book appear randomly from people other than ICEY-X, Mega Giant, and Tosho Unryu Kai. You can challenge the above two mercenaries other than ICEY-X by consuming the special mercenary arrangement form that can be obtained by using N coins, which are rewards from the special arena.

Unlike normal aircraft, mercenary opponents may have changed skills or parts that are specific to mercenaries. A specific example is as follows.

Disables most abnormal status effects

In its current state, it will negate any abnormal status effects it gives. However, since defense destruction is effective against many enemies, it is possible to inflict status ailments during the defense destruction time. Also, it is not resistant to the status ailment that was added later: Corrosion, so it is possible to aim for heavy damage by using Hell or Orochi + targeting weak points.

The biggest point to note is that throwing aircraft cannot be used as mercenary vanguard aircraft. If you try to throw from this side, you will be knocked over by the throw counter and expose a big gap. Also, since knockdowns caused by skill effects are nullified, it is necessary to aim for knockdowns while the status ailment resistance is lowered due to defense destruction, or by accumulating damage.

Normal attribute resistance and non-normal attribute resistance

Depending on the mercenary, there are enemies to whom normal attribute attacks are difficult to work against, and conversely, there are opponents to whom attribute attacks are difficult to work against. This is because the opponent is also equipped with high energy reactive armor, anti-blast armor, all-purpose coat, etc. There are also mercenaries who are specially equipped with dual armor and paint.

Enemy recovery effects do not activate

The recovery effect will not be activated on opponents who would otherwise have a recovery effect, such as Vanessa riding Artemis, Bamoff riding Calamity VII, or Mercenary Kaguya. Machiavelli riding the Secret Keeper activates Scapegoat, but his HP does not recover, so he can be defeated by attacking after releasing stealth. However, since the enemy aircraft’s frame effect is activated, Tosho Unryu Kai may not be able to be defeated until after 7 seconds of unyielding.

Significantly reduces the percentage damage and burning damage that refers to maximum HP (or rather, almost 0)If the enemy has a lot of HP, you might be able to defeat them by increasing the damage with percentage damage or burning damage, but this is countermeasures against mercenary opponents, and the damage is suppressed to almost 0. It is recommended that you do not equip the EN absorbing claw, which is one of the purple bullet parts, as it will result in disastrous results as you will not be able to deal damage to your opponent and you will not be able to recover yourself.

What a Mercenary Needs

Basically, what a mercenary needs is one vanguard aircraft that can withstand enemy attacks, two firepower aircraft that reduce HP, and one of Midori, Rilu, or Mayuzumi, who has the skill “Corrosion (defense destruction)”. If you want to change the formation to support everything from here, you will need to use Oglala or Thane, who has the skill “Magazine Destruction”, for the Corrosion (Defense Destruction) role, and use Adjutant Annabelle’s skill “I need to clean it up”.
The minimum requirements are as follows.

Aircraft with high DPS (Damage Per Second)

This is essential in order to defeat a mercenary with a huge amount of HP within 90 seconds. The higher the firepower, the fewer the chances of an accident, so I want to increase it as much as possible.

Defense Destruction

Status abnormality: Defense destruction will increase the damage dealt to the opponent by 1.42 times (although there are exceptions with different multipliers) for the duration of the effect, so I want it to mean that the damage dealt will increase. There are also mercenaries that are resistant to defense destruction, such as the Gap Beast Knight and Nidhogg.

Knockdown

The mercenary opponent has 100% knockdown resistance, but the knockdown becomes effective while the defense is destroyed, so by aiming for a knockdown, you can reduce the damage received from the opponent and increase the accuracy of your attacks.

Survivability and status abnormality countermeasures for the entire formation

In addition to the durability of the vanguard aircraft that attracts the enemy’s firepower, it is also necessary to increase the overall survivability (defensive performance) of the rear aircraft, as if they are caught up in an attack and destroyed, their firepower will be reduced. Depending on your mercenary opponent, some opponents may attack you with abnormal conditions, so you will also need to take countermeasures against abnormal conditions.

Pilot rank and skill level (including lieutenant), aircraft, parts type and level

At the very least, I would like to have a pilot rank of 10 stars other than defense destruction (support role). In particular, raising the rank and skills of Linda, who is frequently used as a vanguard role, is a top priority.
