Hello!

Yes! I am the poster! !

This time too, we collaborated with a famous work!

Isn’t this a work that many people were into in the past? I hope you watch it with a sense of nostalgia.

Let’s take a look at the details of “Aim for the top!”!

Aircraft description

Gunbuster

The classification in the work is “super-luminal-speed all-purpose large-scale deformable combined machine weapon”. This is because it is capable of superluminal warp by itself, and is versatile enough to fight in all situations, including sublight combat, and when two Buster Machines transform and combine, it becomes a large machine weapon with a total height of 240 meters.

Equipped with two large degenerate reactors based on black hole theory, and equipped with a wide variety of armaments, it is the strongest robot on earth and can control the tide of battle with just one unit.

He made his first sortie in episode 4, but it was unfinished at that time.

It was completed by the time of the battle for absolute defense of the solar system in episode 5, and Noriko and Kazumi rode it (it is said that even if one person is just a fire, if the two of them together turn into flames they are invincible), it showed its true potential.

A single space battleship (used in a strategy to wipe out all the enemies by using a degeneration reactor as a power source as a black hole bomb and detonating it in a group of space monsters) was able to successfully complete the mission against 250 million space monsters.

In episode 6, he uses one of his own large degeneracy reactors to activate super-massive black hole bomb Buster Machine No. 3, which is the trump card for eradicating space monsters. After that, it was not until 12,000 years later that they were able to return to Earth (due to the extremely slow flow of time due to being caught up in the black hole’s high gravity). The two pilots were unharmed, although they suffered injuries all over their bodies.

Buster Machine No. 1, No. 2

Categorized as a 4th generation special space battleship (set to efficiently utilize the pseudo-scientific substance ether) (Buster Machine 1 has a total length of 100m, and Buster Machine 2 has a total length of 99m).

Noriko Takaya will board Buster Machine No. 1, and Kazumi Amano will board Buster Machine No. 2.

It has the ability to fight space monsters on its own, but its true value lies in its ability to become a Gunbuster when combined.

Character description

Takayanoriko

The main character of “Aim for the top!”

She has a history of being slandered as the “annihilation girl” after her father’s space fleet was annihilated by space monsters.

When she first appeared, she was a first year student at Okinawa Girls’ Space High School. After being selected as a pilot candidate for an elite unit, he is jealous and bullied by those around him and almost gives up, but his coach (Koichiro Ota) teaches him the importance of hard work and perseverance, and after undergoing intensive training, his talent blossoms and he acquires the ability to convince those around him.

In the third episode, we will travel to space to defeat the space monster. In addition to experiencing the bereavement of a young man named Smith whom he met there, he also experiences setbacks due to the trauma of his first actual battle.

In the 4th episode, he overcomes his setbacks, grows even bigger, and becomes the pilot of Gunbuster.

He returns to Earth in episode 5, but 10 years have passed on Earth due to the Urashima effect (subluminal speed and time slows down on the side of the warp), and his best friend has already become a parent with a child, so he feels separated from those around him, and he has mixed feelings as he learns that his coach’s life expectancy is short.

However, in order to protect their best friends and the future of humanity from the threat of space monsters that have approached the solar system, they carry the feelings their coach entrusted to them and fight through the battle to absolutely defend the solar system with Gunbuster.

In the 6th episode, he was traveling to space for the final battle against the space monster.

At the time of the decisive battle, even though the trump card, Buster Machine No. 3, was not activated and the space monsters were approaching en masse, leading to a hopeless situation, he used Gunbuster’s degeneracy reactor to forcefully activate it in order to “create a miracle” that would reverse the situation.

Afterwards, he returns to Earth 12,000 years later (the name “Noriko” has continued to be spoken of as a legend even though it has changed), and is welcomed by the whole Earth.

Also, the reason Noriko’s headband is blue is because she has memories of meeting Smith (but for some reason her favorite item is a “blue hair tie”).

Amano Kazumi

When she first appeared, she was a third year student at Okinawa Girls’ Space High School. She is both talented and beautiful, and is admired by those around her as “older sister.” However, his ability was backed up by his hard work and perseverance, which he carried out in secret.

As the pilot of Gunbuster, you will be in charge of the operator.

She is in love with her coach (Koichiro Ota).

In the battle for absolute defense of the solar system in episode 5, he begins to lose his will to fight because he is concerned about his coach who has only a short time left to live, but thanks to Noriko’s encouragement, he is inspired and recovers.

After the operation ends, he reunites with his coach and marries him (the marriage will last only a few months, depending on the coach’s lifespan).

In episode 6, she remains on Earth and works as an instructor at Okinawa Girls’ Space High School, but reunites with Noriko and the others in order to send off Buster Machine 3.

For Kazumi, this is the first reunion in 15 years, but for Noriko it is the first time in half a year due to the Urashima effect (subluminal speed and time slowing down on the side doing the warp).

In the final battle, he rode Gunbuster with Noriko and supported Buster Machine No. 3 to detonate. After that, he returned to Earth 12,000 years later with Noriko.

At the end

This time, I wrote about the settings and synopsis of Gunbuster.

Even if you don’t know about it, if you read the article, you’ll probably understand the story somehow.

If you understand a little bit, I think you will be able to enjoy the collaboration even more.
