This time, I am writing about the overall methods and items to be aware of, so there is no mention of specific aircraft, so please be patient.

How to set up an arena
Iron Saga’s PvP is a complex affair with various elements intertwined, including those that are not obvious at first glance, but there are some elements that you need to keep in mind in order to form a strong formation in the arena. This time I will introduce those elements.
1.
always include a recovery methodNaturally, if there is no recovery method, the durability value will only decrease. Since Iron Saga is an AI-controlled game, it is impossible to play without taking any damage at all, and if that happens, your aircraft will inevitably be destroyed at some point. If you have some kind of recovery method in place, you can delay it. Although the level of difficulty is high, if the amount of recovery exceeds the amount of damage taken, it will actually recover or appear as if no damage has been taken at all.
There are various recovery methods such as damage absorption, percentage recovery per second, recovery buff with green effect, etc.

Additionally, in general, percentage recovery effects are compatible with configurations with high durability values, and damage absorption is compatible with configurations with low durability values.

how to efficiently increase defense powerIn this game, there are three main types of defense power corrections. There are three types of defense correction: Weapon type defense correction that reduces the damage of specific weapon attributes such as main guns and secondary guns, Attribute defense correction that usually reduces damage by dividing it by attribute such as beam, and Final defense correction that reduces damage regardless of attribute at the end of the damage calculation formula. The amount of increase in weapon type defense correction and attribute defense correction decreases when the same type of correction is applied overlappingly, so the most efficient way to increase defense power is to evenly increase the weapon type defense correction, attribute defense correction, and final defense correction.

takes measures against abnormal conditionsIn the current environment, the inflation of attack power is progressing, and if you receive a direct hit without invincibility such as defensive actions and counterattacks, your durability value will be significantly reduced. Therefore, if countermeasures are not taken against abnormal conditions that inhibit movement, there are cases in which the character will be instantly killed. The following are abnormal conditions for which special measures should be taken.
Dizziness
Attached to most melee attacks. If you receive this status ailment continuously without countermeasures, your aircraft will be in a state where it seems to be shaking from side to side, and in the worst case scenario, you will be hit by continuous attacks and your durability will be greatly reduced. Vanguard is almost a status abnormality that requires countermeasures.
Knockdown
It is attached to many melee attacks and some weapons. If you are knocked down, you will be completely defenseless until you get back up, which is extremely dangerous. Furthermore, if no other abnormality countermeasures have been taken, another abnormality will be applied from this state, further delaying recovery from downtime. This is also a status abnormality that requires countermeasures for vanguards.
Paralysis
Often attached to electromagnetic weapons. Although it is a status abnormality that few machines use in the current environment, it is still a dangerous status abnormality as it leaves it defenseless while paralyzed. I would like to take measures if possible.
Countermeasures for abnormal status
There are two main ways to deal with abnormal conditions. There are two ways to simply increase resistance to status ailments and one to prevent it with blocks.
The former simply negates the status ailment, while the latter prevents the status ailment by blocking an attack that has a status ailment effect. The former can definitely prevent status abnormalities, but since it requires resources such as parts, the simple defense power tends to be low. On the other hand, the block type can also increase defense power at the same time, but it is uncertain as a countermeasure against abnormal status.

4.
uses skills and parts to avoid instant death
If you receive a direct hit from a high-power attack such as an enemy’s super move, your durability will be greatly reduced in an instant, and you may encounter a situation where you die instantly. In such a case, you can survive if you equip your lieutenant with resuscitation-related skills such as flash return light.
Additionally, if the auxiliary part “Emergency Separation Device” is equipped, the aircraft will separate once its durability has been reduced to a certain level, making it incapable of action for a certain period of time, but without receiving any damage. For characters who cannot set up a defense adjutant, this will be a priority candidate part.

5.Be conscious of percentage damage.
Some aircraft actions, weapons, and frame effects have the effect of dealing damage at a rate that refers to the durability value (mostly the maximum durability value). Percentage damage increases or decreases only with the final defense correction, and there are many cases with high percentage values that exceed 25%, and if you do not have the final defense correction, your durability will be greatly reduced when you receive these attacks.In order to prevent this, I would like to accumulate as much final defense correction as possible. Also, like status ailments, percentage damage effects can be nullified by blocking, so one way is to stack blocks.

6.About special attributes
Special attribute damage cannot be reduced by normal weapon type defense. It is a particularly dangerous attack because it has one less reduction than a normal attack, and is often highly powerful. However, the defense buff is within the scope of weapon type defense correction, but it can reduce the special attributes, so if you are expecting to fight against an enemy that uses special attributes, it is a good idea to keep the defense buff in mind.

7. About invincibility and no judgment
Some aircraft actions and weapons have a special effect called invincibility or no judgment. Both are very powerful special effects that nullify damage other than attacks with specific effects. Invincibility cannot block throwing techniques, and no judgment cannot block area attacks. In the current arena environment, firepower is highly inflated, so it is important to overcome and defeat enemy attacks with invincibility and non-judgment effective attacks.
